For two years now, Ukrainians have been living in a state of full-scale war. We have been experiencing shelling repeatedly, worrying about our loved ones, and feeling pain. It is especially difficult for teenagers and young adults who face real danger and emotional isolation. In 2023, at Teenergizer, we endeavored to fulfill the most crucial task – to provide a sense of ‘not being alone’ and the much-needed support for young people.
We provided more than 26,000 counseling sessions, expanded our team to 324 peer counselors, and launched nighttime counseling for the first time. Teenergizer actively participated in large-scale nationwide campaigns, and our leaders spoke about Ukraine and youth issues at the highest levels.
